Located on the second floor of Cluny Court, a row of gracefully restored shophouses on the edge of the Botanic Gardens.
Relish has a modern funky interior and specializes in untraditional burgers such as blue cheese beefburger with rucola, poached pear & walnut butter, the paper-thin omelet-wrapped Ram-Lee burger, the soft-boned char-siew pork open foccacia burger & the curry chicken burger. Its weekend brunches are a magnet for yuppies and families living nearby.
Located inside of Cluny Court, the restaurant faces competition from the likes of Da Paolo Gastronomania. From what I could see, Relish holds its own. There was a respectable crowd and it had a completely different style of its own. The restaurant is quite spacious and the decor simple. It basically looked like a deli for Sunday brunch, with the menu aritistically drawn/painted on the walls. The waiters were decked in bright orange polo Ts and were all young and upbeat. Service was good. In particular, the young man who served us, Filbert - I believe that's his name; was very helpful and attentive. He was also very cheerful despite it being the end of the day. That kinda perked our spirits somewhats.
