We travelled with our two children ageas 6 and 9, and we were able to get two interconnecting rooms at the Grand Hyatt in Singapore at what we thought was a reasonable rate for this level of hotel. The decor was really pleasing, cool and modern. The hotel provided a babysitter for us on two nights at an extra charge. Our children absolutely adored the pool which has lovely tropical garden landscaping around it and a very, very nice poolside restaurant which does fresh juices, cocktails and a variety of pan asian food options. I had the noodle soup several times which was very spicy and full of asian veggies and somehow felt quite healthy. There are a number of upmarket restaurants at the hotel including mezza9, with excellent service and willingness to accommodate food allergies (although we were seated next to a dissapated western man who was leering at his asian date, who looked about nine years old - ew.) The staff were polite and helpful and the breakfast congee we had from room service was great too - no complaints, only good things to say about the Hyatt. Excellent choice in this price range.

I was there for 3 days trip for business meeting, and love the hotel location so much already, as was very easy to walk around in Orchard Road - where is the main activities are. Furthermore, the restaurants and bars they have - was amazing, especially the Martini Bar and The Brix. The atmosphere and the band they have there was great, and the crowd and overall was worth it to spend the nights there. Coming from Bali where we also have many great bars and lounge, I will say both Martini Bar and The Brix are similiar atmosphere with Kudeta. Where you wll find yourself enjoy so much the atmosphere and the best is after the late night, you just need to walk upstairs to go back to your room. I will come back for sure to this hotel on my next business or leisure trip.
